The Adventure Begins

We began with safety meetings about the wildlife in Alaska. What an absolutely beautiful place to serve. More pictures to come as we hike to a glacier after church today.

The Faith of the Centurion

by Otoniel Reyes | June 23, 2024 4:10 PM

We received the Lord's powerful word through pastor Nathan during church service this morning, teaching us about how powerfully our faith can grow when we know who we are in God and who Jesus is. The Lord is empowering us to do His will during this week.

Preparing for an EPIC Hike

by Rick Millikin | June 23, 2024 5:27 PM

Our PPM staff took us on a hike to nearby Exit glacier. Along the way we could see signs dating back to the mid 1800s for when they began tracking the receding glacier. Some amazing views.

How Great Thou Art!

by Otoniel Reyes | June 24, 2024 12:34 PM

We were blessed again by God's wonderful creation. In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. To see this ancient glacier and the mountains that are surrounding us we feel God's presence today.

Here We Go!

by Otoniel Reyes | June 24, 2024 12:37 PM

We are ready to start the restrooms' restoration this week at The Church of the Nazarene. We know this will bless many as they attend church services every Sunday.

Not only are the restrooms being restored, but also the church is being painted. There is much to do and we have plenty of hearts and hands willing to help.

Prayer Time

by Otoniel Reyes | June 28, 2024 12:45 PM

It has been a week full of blessings for both the team and the church. We got to pray over the pastor that God will continue to strengthen him, guide him and provide him with everything he needs to advance the kingdom in Seward alongside his staff and the rest of the church.

A farewell photo

by Rick Millikin | June 28, 2024 6:29 PM

What an amazing week! God has showed up in so many ways. We came to be a blessing to this church and they were truly a blessing to us. What a beautiful place to serve. So many fishing and hiking adventures capped off each day.  And literally, breathtaking views, no matter which direction you turn. May God richly bless this church and community.
