Bethel Lutheran Church

This morning after the church service we were able to split into groups to pray over the city of Memphis. 

Tate taking his turn holding one of the signs! 

Waving folks to join us for a moment of prayer. 

We were encouraged by how many men and women stopped to ask for Prayer. It was beautiful to be invited into strangers stories and situations and lift up a blessing for them to our God! 

Our Trip Leader Hannah brought us to a local popsicle place after our afternoon in the sun!! 

MemPop has a bunch of fun flavors!! If you ever find yourself in Memphis make sure you stop by!! 

After an incredible service at Fellowship of Belivers church, we walked through the neighborhood and prayed over the community. We had the opportunity to pray prayers of protection and fellowship for the nearby schools.

Jack & Spencer rode around on bikes while we explored Mud Island and found the Memphis sign!

Then our team went back to the church for some delicious dinner and great devotionals! Wrapping up the night with debreif with our small groups! 

Started the morning with more sign holding to invite our neighbors to our Youth Outreach!

We did a prayer walk through the neighborhood.

The guys helped Bobby get the kitchen at the church all cleaned up!

Bennett, Isaac, and Brennen helping get all the chairs for our Youth outreach picnic lunch!

We helped organize and sort crafts at the Memphis Botanical Graden. We had an opportunity to get to know each other better while hand deep in a pile of yarn!

Part of our team started off the morning strong getting the sidewalks of the church all cleaned up! 

When a leader asked Lily to grab 1 garbage bag but she comes back with three because the Pastor was in there and said she had to take 3, one for the Father, one for the Son, and one for the Holy Spirit! 

We love our Pastors! 

It's water day at VBS!! Pray more kiddos come join in on the fun on this 99° day in memphis!!

We have had an incredible amount of families stop by for prayer, food and fellowship with our team simply by being outside enjoying time with our Pastor welcoming people in. 

Our team got to venture to bass pro last night for a little excursion!

The ladies are getting off to a great start! 

One of the members of the church wanted to share a bit of his life with our guys. He has tons of awesome old cars and other neat motorized vehicles! 

We passed out flyers to drum up excitement for summer activities at the Neighborhood Christian Center. We were able to stop and prayer for the residents.

At Memphis Athletic Ministry we got to play basketball with the kids! Looks like Cayden has a 1 v. 3 game going on!

It's been an honor to be invited to pray over different men and women from this community let alone from the church. 

Half of our team got a chance to cover Charlie in prayer!

The last of our team is finally on our ice cream break!! 

Ready for our devotional time and smalls groups to wrap up day 3 of our missions trip!

Even after a long sweaty day of work, the guy were so eager to play pickleball! What a great way to relax after hard work!

Part of the team is getting ready to paint the gym at Second Baptist Church. 

One of the highlights of the VBS crews day was getting to test drive Charlie's electric bikes after helping him out this afternoon! 

He was genuinely so thankful for our teams help today, but he truly blessed us as well. The kingdom is funny that way, not all things are a competition, we can mutually bless one another. 

The gym is starting to take on a new look. 

A few of us went over to help clear out a laundry mat that fellowship of Believers Church of Christ purchased in order to turn it into either a thrift store or a fish shop!

We got to visit the National Civil Rights Museum! 

We had a great time making our way through all the powerful exhibits at the museum today. 

We pray for continual restoration for all people!
