Mt. Pisgah Church

Mt. Pisgah Church and First Methodist of Valdosta spent time together in worship and recreational activities as we had the opportunity to see Valdosta State University. 

We had the blessing of interacting and praying for our mission with First Methodist this morning after a wonderful service with Rev. Dr. Anthony. This team has exciting things ahead!

Many students come to do missions work and tackle many challenges. We are proud of Mt. Pisgah taking these to new heights  

Psalms 121: 1-2 “I will raise my eyes to the mountains; From where will my help come? My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.”

We started this morning by learning about our mission site Living Bridges Ministry. We met Darcie and the team and we got right to work! These three girls are creating a beautiful garden for the front! 

We had a great time loading, unloading, and organizing Living Bridges warehouse. The team learned how incentive programs are formed due to generous donations to help build homes.

For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in,

Our team sorted socks and underwear to provide proper clothing to kids. It has been uplifting to see the Lord work through them. 

God was seen when we worshiped with New Convenent’s youth group ! We sang Egypt and some of the youth prayed for others or got others to pray for them. Amen!
