Readiness Team

Our group met at the city hall this morning and after some instructions immediately got to work.  The flooding in Waterville was widespread and affected a large percent of the residents. 

One of our primary tasks was helping residents with debris removal, either from curbside or directly out of their homes.

Our first job of the morning was to remove water damaged belongings from Bill's basement.

We went back in the afternoon to remove water soaked drywall.  We also applied cleaning chemicals to remove and prevent any mold.

We loved getting to know Bill and we were able to pray with him before we left. 

Bill was so appreciative of the assistance our team provided.

The family living in this home along the creek worked non-stop for about 36 hours trying to stop the flood waters.  Despite their efforts the basement was completely flooded.

We felt so bad for them as we helped haul their water damaged belongs to the trailer for disposal.  We pray for God's peace, comfort and healing as they work to repair their home.

We prayed with homeowners and the team of workers for God's blessings on all the people of Waterville.
