The team has arrived safely and has settled at the church for the night! 

Our team attended the Sunday morning service taught by Pastor Rick Bundschuh.

Our team is flexing our creative muscles making fish, crabs, and turtles. 

After finishing up VBS prep, our team ended the night seeing the sea turtles and sea lions at the beach and singing worship together. 

What an amazing first day of VBS! We saw some old friends for some of our team from last summer and met a lot of new friends. Today, we focused on how God is a Real Friend! Here we are enjoying our snack of “fish sticks” together before diving back into fun! 

This evening some of our team went and enjoyed some Puka Dogs. 

Day two of VBS was a huge success! Very thankful to serve with Kauai Christian Fellowship and the community of Kauai kids. Here we learned about Jonah seeing the love of his friend Jesus in the belly of the whale and we mimicked this through parachute play! 

Our team has been leading songs, skits, and cheers. Today we led around 75 kids in worshipping Jesus!

We washed and vacuumed the ministry vans for Kauai Christian Fellowship and Kauai Baptist Church. These vans will be used for camps, retreats, and conferences throughout the year.

This afternoon, part of the team went off to serve through Kauai Baptist Church. While there, we served at a member of the congregation's home and helped lay flooring. 

Our team got the opportunity to do some landscaping at Anchor House - a Kauai Christian education program for young adults. We salted weeds, trimmed sidewalks, and raked debris.

Day three of VBS was so much fun! Today we learned about how Jesus is a friend we can trust! Here is our team playing an outside game of noodle tag with the kids! 

Last night we were able to go to The Smith Family Garden Luau. We ate amazing food, saw so many amazing plants and animals, and ended the night enjoying a dance and fire show! 

Today was our fourth morning of VBS and wow, was it a blast! Here you see the Sticky Scripture station as we read from John 11:25.

” I am the resurrection and the life; whoever believes in me, even if he dies, will live.”

Yesterday afternoon was spent out in Lihue! The team went on a Mountain Tubing Adventure through Kauai Back Country. What a fun experience with lots of laughs and cool sites seen! Here is some of our team! 

Our recreational afternoon was spent down at the beach but not splashing around. 7 members of our team were baptized at the boat harbor as well as two bystanders asking to be baptized with them, one is shown in this picture!
