Connections Church

After an awesome church service the team started setting up and preparing for this week's VBS. Luckily there was some great entertainment!

The team hopped off the plane in Alaska and immediately experienced some Alaskan culture. On any given weekend in Alaska you can find several festivals happening around town. We just love having an excuse to be around our people. We also love having an excuse to celebrate our 20+ hours of sunlight, so naturally there's a festival for that!! We ate local Alaskan fare, visited local vendors, tried on some fur, and even found Big Foot! 

Hatcher Pass is one of Alaska's only areas in the mountains that you can actually drive through. Because of this there's lots of recreation options and the team enjoyed hiking in God's glorious creation last night!

The Fritz's neighborhood kids had a BLAST at Backyard Bible Club. They played games, heard the gospel, and participated in the Sledge-O-Matic! 

Band of Brothers is a local cafe ministry apart of Church On The Rock with a heart for mens ministry. They want to see thriving families led by spiritually strong men.
