We went to the supermarket to buy what we needed for the bags that we will use this week to bless homes.

Today we had a special service. We worshipped together, and spent time with kids in a Biblical school. Pastor Chris shared a powerful message and we finished the service taking the communion.

We had a special time after the service, we had a baptism class because around 20 people received Jesus today. There is a party in heavens!

This morning, we visited families in the community to get to know them, pray for them, and invite them to visit our church. We gave them a bag of food to let them know we are here to help them and to serve them.

This week, we are building classrooms for the children because when it is rainy season, they do not have a safe place to learn about Jesus. 

Today, we built two walls and we hope will finish all this week.

Today, 18 people got baptized. 
Even when we were not able to get them baptized on the river, God's plan was greater.

We did baptisms a little bit differently. 

The woman with the blue t-shirt outside the pool had a surgery 22 days ago to fight cancer. Yesterday, she decided to be baptized.

We split the construction team into two groups. One of the groups put up the last panel and we finished the wall. The other group began to prepare the division of the walls for the children’s classrooms.

In the morning, we started the food distribution ministry. We met some strong women and heard their strong testimonies. We heard Isabel, Ana, Fernanda, and Dayana’s testimony, the last being a cancer survivor.

God has the last word and when we trust in Him, God can do powerful things

In the afternoon we had a great time with the kids of the church. We danced and learned about Daniel in the Lion’s den and how can we trust in the strength that God can give us.

We had a special moment in this trip. We met José and Tania, a couple of the church who desired to get married

Today, we prepared the church for a beautiful ceremony and Pastor Chris led and married the new husband and wife

We had a meeting with the women where they felt special and loved. We heard the story of Martha and Mary that reminded us of the importance of stopping and refreshing ourselves. We shared coffee and cookies while we got to know each other.

During the morning we were finishing one of the walls for the children's classrooms. We have made a lot of progress. Now the children will have a safer and cleaner place.

Distribution of food this week brought love, joy and hope to many families. We saw Jesus provide and let them know I am with you!

Today we finished the children's ministry with the story of Noah. We sang, played and ate cookies. All the children were very excited to share the last day with the team.

Today the brothers and sisters of the church said goodbye to us with a decoration with typical things from Costa Rica: typical food, big hugs and thanks. It has been an incredible week and we have been blessed.
