After church, we went to the beach! We spent time with the church members, Pastor, and each other in worship and shared our favorite scriptures. It was a beautiful time of fellowship!

We had the joy of serving Parkway Baptist Church’s school today! These kiddos were such a light to us today, and an amazing reminder of what the true joy of the Lord looks like.

While serving today, we each helped in different classrooms! We were partnered with a teacher and a class, ages ranging from one year old- kindergarten. These children were so fun, but they also took a lot of attention. It’s such a blessing to be able to come in and help take a slight load off of these teachers who do this everyday. We are grateful for who they are in the lives of these kids!

Looking at this photo of Rachel and the children, we can be reminded of what it looks like to walk with God. God is so near, and that truth can often be forgotten. He shows up in sweet moments like these, to remind us who He is!

We were also able to start a project painting a house today! The weather held up just long enough to get two sides done! We are excited to see this project from start to finish ◡̈

Tonight, we celebrated Amara’s 19th birthday!! We are so grateful for all that she brings to this team. She was so easy to celebrate!

Today we were back working with the kids! It has been so cool to see everyone’s comfort zones grow; whether it be doing something that they don’t enjoy, being tasked with a challenge, or learning a new skill!
