First United Methodist Church of Phoenix

Today we took a stroll around Rio Piedras and admired the street art. Now we are on our way to church. 

Today we got to meet our partner church and praise the Lord with them. We are excited to serve them and this community in any way we can. 

After lunch we got to visit two houses and pray over them. We can’t wait to serve this community this week!

Today we are scraping and painting the pastoral house. The goal for this week is to paint the house and seal the roof. 

It doesn’t rain much in Arizona so here we are, getting soaked. 

After a long and hot day of work, we decided to stop by one of our favorite ice cream spots in Rio Piedras, Heladería Georgetti. 

Today is our last day working at the pastoral house. We’ve come a long way! Today’s goal is to finish painting all the iron and to paint the 2nd floor. We can’t wait to see our final product. 

We are almost done painting all the iron! We are working through the heat and enjoying the camaraderie.  

We finished what we started! All the iron around the pastoral house was scraped and painted. The pastor was so grateful and pleased with our work. 

After three days filled with hardwork, today we get to relax and enjoy Old San Juan.
